Learning Objective: Students will use the DSLR cameras to shoot photos of their choice which demonstrate their understanding capturing motion by manipulating the camera's shutter.

Shoot at the shutter priority mode and auto focus. Make sure your shutter speed is above 1/125th of a second. Take several photos and edit your favorite 2 action shots. File name: yourname_freezeaction.jpeg Examples of motion blur...-Take action photos trying to capture MOTION BLUR. Try to “capture the moment”. Make sure your shutter speed is 1/30th or below for more blur. You might need to use a tripod to make sure stationary objects are not blurred. Take several photos and edit your 2 favorite shots. File name: yourname_motionblur.jpeg Examples of panning...- Take action photos that demonstrate PANNING. Play with a shutter speed is 1/60 to 1/30 for more blur. Edit your best shot shot.
