Finished with your portrait assignment?You can do this Alphabet scavenger hunt for extra credit with a partner. I will check to make sure your photoshop tutorials are turned in BEFORE you are allowed to check out a camera. You will get creative by finding letters of the alphabet in everyday life.

Learning Objective: Students will complete 3 different Photoshop editing tutorials of their choice that relate to portrait photography. Students will write a written reflection about their process and display their proficiency by creating a "before" and "after" photo. While the studio can only have one group at a time, you will work on completing THREE photoshop tutorials of your choice that relate to portrait photography. DUE DATES:
REQUIREMENT: You must do ONE tutorial that is based on skin re-touching. The other TWO tutorials are you choice. Some ideas of tutorials you could search for and do:
Download this Google form and fill it out reflecting on your tutorials HERE.You will turn in this filled out Google form, as well as your tutorial results in Google classroom. EACH tutorial will be worth 20 points. That's 60 points total for all three! Trust me, you don't want a zero on this. Take your own photos to edit.Depending on the tutorial you plan to complete, you will need to take a photo to work with. Work with a high quality image that is taken with the DSLR cameras NOT a phone image. You can take a photo of a friend or have someone take a photo of yourself for these tutorials. Make sure the lighting is good, I suggest going outside!
Learning Objective: Students will take a series of photos in the Photography Studio and manipulate the lighting to enhance the model. They will apply Photoshop editing techniques to make the overall image appear professional and flattering for the model.
Note: You must turn in photos that YOU SHOT YOURSELF. You cannot turn in photos of YOURSELF because that means you didn't shoot them.

Look for a variety of poses, facial expressions, and lighting scenarios. Write a small note regarding WHAT it is that you like about that image. Sketching Assignment: You will plan out 10 poses and thinking about the placement of your lighting equipment. Stick figures and arrows to show your lights are OK!
