Learning Objective: Students will explain their Google Doodles and past art/computer experience by writing a statement. When you have finished your two Google Doodles please answer the following questions in paragraph form (not a list of answers). Please write as well as you can and correct any spelling errors. These statements will eventually be posted on your personal Weebly website alongside the Google Doodle artwork you created. Since you're not yet set up with a website yet, answer these questions in a Google Document on your Google Drive so that you can easily access them later and copy them to your website. DIGITAL Google Doodle questions to answer in PARAGRAPH FORM
Analog Google Doodle questions to answer in PARAGRAPH FORM
Read example statement below:"The theme of my digital Google Doodle is Pokemon. I chose this theme because I really like Pokemon and I play the game in my free time. The program I used to create my Artwork is called "Google Draw." I don't have much experience using this program but I was still able to be fairly creative and make something that I am proud of. I haven't taken any other computer classes in the past except "keyboarding" where I learned to type. Creating this digital google doodle was a little frustrating because I was limited to what I could create using Google Draw. It made me excited to learn more advanced programs like Adobe Photoshop because I know I'll be able to get more creative with my ideas. The type of art I usually like is Anime because I like to watch Anime movies and read Anime comics."
Learning Objective
Students will be able to demonstrate prior knowledge by creating one analog and one digital Google Doodle. Create a Google Doodle in two ways: Digital (on the computer) and Analog (by hand using traditional art materials). This will become the first piece of art that is posted to your new website after you create that. This project will tell me a lot about your artistic style and previous learning. I will be grading you on the apparent effort you put into the project and your ON TIME completion of the two Doodles. Digital doodle: Use whatever program that we have on the computers and that you already have a basic idea of how to use. Start with an 11" x 8.5 page orientation (horizontal) so that you can make your design as large as possible on the page. You may use images from the internet, text, and drawings you create in the programs if that is what you want. Analog doodle: Using paper as a base design and draw your Google Doodle. You may use any dry materials we have in the classroom such as colored pencils, markers, your own sharpies, or collage. Make your design as large as possible on the page. Milestone Deadline: Friday September 1st |
