Examples of Photography diptychsBy placing the two photos together, a story starts for form for the viewer about the basketball player. Maybe it's a statement on hard work, achieving your dreams, etc. By putting two contrasting images together such as the sky and the ground, the viewer can create their own meaning. The veins in the leaves and the veins in the person's hand could be making a statement about aging, growth, death, etc. The viewer can choose! This couple illustrates their long distance relationship by placing two images together into a diptych.
